I bought a special mould for the donuts at Cake and Bake. You will also need a spatula.
Ingredients for 12 donuts:
180g of flour
100g of sugar
1 teaspoon of baking powder
A pinch of cinnamon
A pinch of salt
Half a pot of natural yogurt
1 egg beaten
2 heaped soupspoons of margarine or softened butter
2 soup spoons of Cadbury chocolat
150g of icing sugar
3 to 5 soupspoons of lemon juice, you choose the consistency of this that you would like
Red food colouring
100g of icing sugar
3 soup spoons of margarine
2 heaped soupspoons of Cadbury chocolate
Oven at 200° for 6 minutes.
Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and salt together, to this add the yogurt, egg and butter. Once this is mixed together, take the batter and divide into two equal parts. Don’t worry, this batter will not look like cake batter! Put the first half of the batter in the donut moulds filling only half way. Put this in the oven.
For the chocolate donuts, add the Cadburys chocolate to the batter and fill the donut moulds as previously done, remember to only fill them halfway! Bake.
Using a spatula, spread the icing on the donut and straight after add whatever other decorations you would like. Keep the icing fresh for the chocolat donuts.
So, are you more of a ‘Girl power’ or ‘Chocolate bad boy’?
